happyworth operates HAPPYWorth and is responsible for the personal information described here. Our address is 3811 Ditmars Blvd #2118, Astoria, NY 11105, United States. Contact hello@happyworth.digital with privacy questions or requests. This policy covers our website, accounts, company claims, profiles, billing, and community consultation.
Company search signals and your choice
We use optional company-search signals to prioritize independent research. You can turn this off using the control above. We also skip contributions when your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track. Search results work regardless of this choice.
When enabled, submitting a search (or selecting a company from a filtered directory) sends the query to our own search-demand endpoint. It resolves exact names against our company directory. We store capped daily totals for recognized company identifiers; unrecognized searches share one general coverage-gap total. We do not retain the submitted query text in demand records, create profiles from unverified text, or join these totals to sign-in, payment, or community records. Search text in the search-page URL can still appear in browser history or hosting/security logs.
A random identifier is kept in this browser’s local storage and replaced when a search is made on a new UTC day. We use purpose-specific hashes of that identifier and day to limit repeat contributions.
Guard records contain no raw identifier, IP address, query, account ID, or company identifier. They expire after the end of the following UTC day; expired guards and company totals older than 90 days are removed on the next eligible search or an administrator’s maintenance run. If the service is inactive, physical deletion waits until that cleanup runs.
The browser’s stored identifier remains until replaced, disabled here, or cleared with site data.
Counts reflect capped search signals, not unique people or a representative survey. No advertiser receives these demand records. We use them only to plan coverage and review abuse; they never change a numerical rating. Disabling contributions removes the current local identifier and stops new signals from this browser; company totals already aggregated are retained under the cleanup rule above.
Information we use
Account and sign-in information. We receive your authentication identifier, email address, and any name or profile information returned by the sign-in option you choose. Google may provide information you authorize. An email-link sign-in uses your email address to deliver an access link. We use Supabase for authentication and use the returned account information to secure sessions and provide saved brands and account services. We do not request your Google password, contacts, email contents, or calendars.
Saved items and communications. We store your saved brands, settings, brand suggestions, correction requests, access requests, support messages, and related timestamps. We use these to provide the requested functions and respond to you. Please avoid including unnecessary personal or sensitive information in open text fields.
Company claims and profiles. We use your contact details, role, claimed company, and supporting authority information to verify profile access and resolve disputes. Your approved company description, website, logo, and cover image are public. Verification records and private contact information are for authorized operations, not public profile features. Only submit material you have the right to use; do not include private information about employees, customers, or other people in a public profile.
Payments. Stripe processes payment information. We receive customer and subscription references, purchased products, payment status, invoice information, amounts, currency, discounts, and limited billing details needed for access, accounting, support, and refunds. Complete card numbers and card security codes are not stored in HAPPYWorth’s application database. Stripe also processes information for its own payment, fraud-prevention, and legal purposes under its Privacy Policy.
Community contributions. If you opt in, we store your priorities across the five dimensions, optional words, account association, consent version, timestamps, and moderation status. We use these to run the consultation and review our methodology. Subscription status does not change influence. Companies do not receive individual ballots, and we do not sell community responses or use them for targeted advertising. We publish reviewed aggregate results under the minimum-participation rules shown on the page. A minimum count reduces disclosure risk but is not a guarantee of anonymity or a representative sample of society. Do not include health history, private identities, or sensitive information in your response.
What is public and what is restricted
Brand profiles, approved company-supplied branding, published scorecards, methodology, source references, rankings, and reviewed aggregate consultation summaries are public. Full report editions are available to readers with the relevant report access. Saved-brand lists, private claim evidence, individual ballots, authentication tokens, and billing information are not public features. Public content may be copied or cached by other people, and we cannot guarantee removal from their independent copies.
Authorized administrators can access information needed to support accounts, review claims and submissions, operate billing, and investigate abuse. Access is limited by role and purpose. A report purchase stores its unused credit balance and grants access to editions when selected. Monitoring also stores the five selected companies and their paid coverage periods. Your report library, delivery history, purchase allocation, and refund status support delivery, retained access, and billing support. These records are private; purchasing research does not grant profile-editing authority or access to another customer’s information or individual community answers.
Brand research details
To identify a brand, we collect the name, official website or brief description, market, and any public source links you provide. Do not submit confidential information or personal employee records. We send the identifying details and retrieved public evidence to the configured AI research provider, currently OpenAI directly or through Cloudflare AI Gateway, to locate sources, assess evidence and check findings. We do not include your account email, payment details, private community responses, or company-claim documents in those research prompts.
A private saved link lets you return to a First look without an account. Keep that link private. Identifying drafts expire after 30 days; source-text working copies are kept for a limited period for research and failure recovery. Commissioned scope, dated findings and purchase records are retained with the report and billing history. Reports may be reused for the same confirmed scope so repeated purchases do not require duplicate research.
Providers and disclosures
We use Supabase for authentication, Stripe for payments and billing, and Cloudflare Workers, D1 and R2 for application delivery and storage. Service providers process information needed for their functions. Google applies its own policies when you choose its sign-in service. Uploaded logos and cover images are stored through Cloudflare R2. Replacing an image removes the old stored object; browser or intermediary caches may expire separately.
We may disclose relevant information to authorized service providers, to comply with a legal obligation, or where reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or service security. If the business is reorganized or transferred, relevant records may transfer with it subject to applicable protections and notice requirements. Buying a report or company plan does not provide access to raw community responses or private user lists.
Cookies and automated processing
The service uses cookies or similar storage for sign-in sessions and functions necessary to operate and protect the account. Sign-in and payment providers may use their own technology when you interact with them.
Optional analytics. Google Analytics runs only after you choose Allow analytics. You can decline or withdraw using the analytics controls on this page; we also respect Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track.
What Google receives. Google receives a browser identifier, device and approximate location information, sanitized page and referring-site information, and events about navigation, public brand discovery, offer selection, checkout, confirmed purchases and feature use. We do not send account emails, authentication tokens, raw search text, private form responses, community priorities or claim evidence. Purchase events include an order reference, offer and confirmed amount; payment-card details are not sent.
How we use analytics. We use this information to understand acquisition, engagement and conversion and improve HAPPYWorth. Advertising storage, Google signals and advertising personalization are disabled.
Campaign links. After you allow analytics on happy.digital, we can keep public campaign labels in that browser tab for use for up to 30 minutes. We carry those labels when you continue to happyworth.digital so we can understand which campaign brought interested visitors. We do not transfer a browser identifier or your consent choice between the domains; each domain has its own analytics choice. Labels may appear in browser history and hosting logs. Expired labels are removed at the next check, and declining analytics clears them from that tab.
Storage and your choice. Analytics cookies are configured to expire after 90 days; your choice is stored on this browser until changed or cleared. Declining does not affect account access, purchases or community influence. Google processes analytics under its Privacy Policy. These analytics are separate from the optional company-search research signals above.
The current community feature uses structured aggregation and human review. We do not send private ballots or company-claim evidence to an AI service or use them to train unrelated AI models. HAPPYWorth does not use community answers to decide your eligibility for employment, credit, housing, insurance, or similar opportunities. Our public analysis concerns brands, not ratings of individual people. Any future material change to these uses will be disclosed before it takes effect as required by law.
Retention and deletion
We retain account information while needed to provide your account, resolve requests, protect the service, and meet legal obligations. Sign-out clears our application’s authentication cookies. Session cookies expire according to the authentication settings; Supabase may retain account and security records under its own applicable practices.
You can replace or withdraw a community contribution using the available controls. Withdrawal removes the contribution from future aggregates; an already-published summary may remain because it describes that completed consultation. We do not keep individual ballots solely to create hidden marketing profiles. Company profile material remains until changed or removed, and claim evidence is retained only while needed for verification, disputes, and service security.
Download any report copies you want to retain before requesting account closure. Closing the account removes sign-in access to the library; limited edition-entitlement and payment records may be retained for disputes and accounting. Billing records may remain after an account closes where required for accounting, tax, fraud prevention, or disputes. We retain support and security records only while needed for the issue, appropriate protection, or applicable legal duties. Backups and caches may expire separately and are restricted from ordinary active use. We assess retention by purpose, sensitivity, legal requirements, and whether the information is still needed.
Your choices and requests
You can manage saved brands, edit permitted profile fields, withdraw community participation, and use account billing controls to cancel a subscription. Send access, correction, export, deletion, or other privacy requests to hello@happyworth.digital. We may verify account control before acting and explain any lawful exception. We do not require extra sensitive information unless necessary to verify or process the request. Closing an account does not erase legally required billing records or automatically remove already-published aggregate results.
Depending on your location and the applicable law, you may also be entitled to restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, appeal a response, or complain to your privacy regulator. Consent withdrawal does not undo prior lawful processing. We do not reduce community influence or impose a price penalty because someone exercises an applicable privacy right. Participation in consultation remains optional, and choosing not to participate does not reduce access to a purchased service.
Legal bases and international processing
Where a law requires a legal basis, we use information as necessary to provide the requested account and purchased services, meet legal obligations, and pursue legitimate interests such as service security, fraud prevention, and responding to requests, taking account of your rights. Optional community participation relies on your choice to contribute and can be withdrawn. We do not use account creation as blanket consent for unrelated purposes.
We and our providers may process information outside your country, including in the United States. These countries may have different privacy laws. Where required, we use the safeguards applicable to the provider relationship and transfer, such as contractual protections. Contact hello@happyworth.digital for information about the safeguards relevant to your data.
Age, security, and changes
Accounts and community participation are intended for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly invite children to create accounts. Contact us if a child has provided personal information so we can address it. We use access controls and other appropriate safeguards, but no online service can promise absolute security. We date changes to this policy and communicate material changes as required. Questions and requests can be sent to hello@happyworth.digital or happyworth, 3811 Ditmars Blvd #2118, Astoria, NY 11105, United States.
